Default QM2 Black & White Ball, Royal Ascot Ball
Does anyone have any information on the above balls. We'll be on the QM2 Eastbound TA cruise leaving NY on Sept 5.

I did a QM2 10-night Caribbean cruise, where we had the Black & White, a costume ball and one other I can't recall. They are formal nights. The B&W was a formal evening where the "theme" was for everyone to dress in black and White. Most men wore tuxedos and women were in cocktail dresses, both long and knee length. In the evening, after dinner, was the Ball, where there was dancing in the Queens Room Ballroom. It was all very elegant, with a wonderful live band playing a lot of 1940s era music, but other kinds of music as well.

The other formal nights were pretty much the same formula, dressing for dinner and an evening of entertainment and dancing.

Default QM2 Black and White Ball
Picking up an old thread, but we are traveling westbound on August 29 and I've read about the different kind of balls. Does anyone know if these are standard on Cunard cruises? We leave for Europe on June 29 and don't cruise until August. I will not get cruise documents before I've packed and left for Europe.
Thanks for any advice. Guess it might be smart to at least have black and white with us but the other types of balls?

We had 3 formal balls on a 10 night Caribbean cruise on QM2. Black and White, Masquerade, and I can't remember the third. You can always call Cunard before you leave home and ask them for dress details for your particular cruise.
