Hello Welcome to Cruise Chat.

Other cruise lines will do them seasonally. You will find Princess and Holland America have a few sailings out of SouthHampton England.. I saw some for 2010

We are doing an Oceania cruise next July up to the North Cape. Might be worth looking at

alexandra cruiser - Welcome Aboard to Cruise-Chat, the best place to be when you are"on the beach" and 'tween cruises!http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif Unfortunately I can't tell you too much about the fjiords in Norway - my Scandinavian experience is limited to a Swedish SSAAAAB and a reVolvo (Hint -we share a lot of humor here too!)

No doubt you will get many responses to your questions. Come here and Come often!!

Bon Voyages!http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif

Please be aware that Hurtigruten is not a cruise line but a (traditional) ferry service along the Norwegian coast. It is a very nice but different experience and also a different itinerary (!) than a conventional cruise to Norway.

Here a link to some (old) video clips of a Hurtiguten trip:

Personally, I recommend a conventional cruise with a good itinerary during the summer months (when the Hurtigruten ships are crowded) and a Hurtigruten trip during the off season or even winter months. (However, I heard that they can be full even during the winter!)

Thanks for the video link.I ve done more investigating and found out Azamara,a smaller ship, does a fjiords cruise.Still not sure ,but thanks for your advice and great video.Hope others will look at it.Alexandra Cruiser http://bestsmileys.com/waving/7.gif

Azamara would be a good choice also. The Oceania ships and Azamara ships are the same size ships. Both cruise lines bought the ships from Renaissance when they went bankrupt.
