Costa names it's next two ships

What do you do to make the ship names Costa Fabulous and Costa Fascinating sound more sophisticated? You use Italian! Thus the next two ships joining the Costa fleet will be named Costa Favolosa and Costa Fascinosa.

They didn't run a contest to name them, dang it. I have to say, the decor in Costa is really unique.

They did a naming campaign, mostly from travel agents. I just posted the press release here

It doesn't call it a contest though and no prizes are mentioned.

Princess named Loretta the godmother of the Royal. Royal gave away a cruise for the Oasis. Carnival had the cruise for the Dream for the children's drawings. Maybe they did something overseas?
