Hurtigruten alcohol policy

Hello, my father is taking a trip with one of the ships of Hurtigruten. He is wondering if it is allowed to bring alcohol on board and consume it while the trip on board.

My understanding is they allow personal alcohol in reasonable amounts for in-cabin use.

At the old sealetter website (which Lisa and I both helped run) a fellow from Australia wrote a great review of the Nordlys. You can still read it here. Granted it is almost 5 years old, but still good reading.

He will be happy to hear about the policy.. I am not much for alcohol but he likes it while on vacation.
