I was just wondering if anybody used them and did you like them or not?

I am getting ready to make a reservation with them. We leave on our cruise in a little over a week and I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks so much Bruce, I can't wait to hear about it.

I will tell you that they were very nice when I was talking with them online and then they gave me their number and extension. I asked if they worked on commission and the person I was talking to said yes. We are looking forward to it.

I also talked to them on the phone. Do you know how much the video was and if it is just of you or everybody that is with you?

Angel,

Thought I would let you know about our trip. We have just gotten back from the Liberty and the time we spent at the Dolphin Discovery was worth every cent!! It was great. Me and my daughter, 8 years old, did the Royal Swim. You have roughly an hour in the water with them and you get to pet, interact, get towed and get a foot push if you get the Royal Swim package. It is $139 per person. The video they do is $50 and then they offer you the pictures and it is $80 for all of them. Now, before you get hung up on price, I will tell you that the pics they do are phenomenal and the DVD is very good. It includes everyone in your group. I think they limit the group to either 10 or 12. We had a grand time and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Now, having said that, here are some pointers. It is only a 5 or 10 minute taxi ride from the pier to the Dolphin Discovery place. This costs $10 per cab, not per person, for up to 4 people. The big thing to remember is that they are one hour behind ship time. I rushed over there thinking I was cutting it close, we had a noon appointment, and got there at 11:45 so I thought. Turns out that we were there at 10:45 their time!!! If you get there early, walk down the beach and enjoy the snorkeling there at Chankanaab. It is an absolutely gorgeous place. There are lockers and a very nice gift shop there at the Dolphin Discovery. The one thing about the DVD to remember though is they record it in a +RW format that plays fits with some equipment.

One last thing, go ahead and make your reservation now, before December 31. If you do, they will send you a coupon via e-mail for 10% off purchases. For instance, the 2 of us added up to $278, so we got a voucher for $27.80 and this can be applied to purchases there at the park. We used it to decrease the cost of the pictures and video that we bought. So, I have no qualms about recommending it, it was a wonderful experience for us.

Thanks again Bruce for the great information. I can't wait to go now. I have always wanted to swim with the dolphins. I would love to see any pictures you have of this and your cruise. Thanks again.

Angel,

If I can figure out how to post some, I will. We loved the dolphin swim. Remember, get your reservation before December 31 to get the 10% coupon.
