Stingray City Excursion

Hey Guys, I have been lurking in the background for months, and I really appreciate all of the information you give. My family and I are sailing on the Imagination over the Christmas holidays. We have booked a tour through Grand Cayman Cruise Excursions, Island Marketing LTD. We have booked their Stingray City Eco-tour, on the Nautigal. Does anyone have any information on this excursion? How do we get there,is it a good trip, etc. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Do it, do it, do it. I just returned from the Valor cruise with a stop in Cayman and we did this excursion. We had a blast!! What an absolute thrill swimming with these amazing animals. It is approx 10-minute bus ride to the boat, then 30-minute ride to the sandbar. Then the stingrays come from everywhere to say hello. What a thrill, would do it again tomorrow. The tour guides from CCL were fantastic!!! Must do!!!!

yeah I heard it's great. when i went on that trip grand cayman was closed from hurricane damage so i missed that gonna try again in the future.

Stingray City is a blast! Did it two years ago. They just swim all around your feet. One of the tour guides picked one up and let us feet it. Just keep your thumb tucked in your hand so they don't suck it up! Also, be careful not to step on any. It's better to "brush" your feet against the sand when walking. These creatures are very tame, and are used to the people. You know what they say, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you"
