The cruise ship offers this as an excursion. We would really like to see it but it will be $400+ and our cruise docks at 830 and leaves again at 200pm. This is on a sunday mothers day and the water slides don't seem to open till 10am. My question is has anyone been there that can tell me if it is even worth it. We love water slides but if we only get to go on three because of crowdes that wont be good. I am also wondering if you can check out the resort and use their beaches for free if we do not go to the slides?

It's a short $4 cab ride to the Atlantis....You can spend as much time as you want just walking around the hotel...you can see most of the aquariums for free...there is a tour that costs around $30 of the hotel, but not worth it in my opinion....There are some free beaches, but most of the hotel beaches are for guests. There is also a casino in the hotel....Food there is priced very HIGH....there is lots of shopping in Nassau after you come back from the hotel....I'm sure someone else will answer your questions in more detail. Happy Cruising....

I agree with Bob. It sounds too pricey to me for the time afforded. They do have a tour that Bob noted. Here is a link. Cabbage beach is directly to the right of the resort and is free. Taxi's are always there. You could check out the free resort areas, or do the tour, and then head to the beach. Your wallet will thank you. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif
