Key West - What to do?

I'm looking for something to do in Key West - Is there any type of hotel that you can use there pool, beaches or snokeling? We were in Key West in December spent all our time walking, looking and shopping. I'm not looking for a bar (we will have kids with us). I'm looking for something to do with water. I know in August it is going to be very hot.

DSR - I was in Key West last October (pre Wilma) and found a neat pool by the marina. If you purchase something to eat or drink, you could swim in the pool. It was a gorgeous pool. I believe it's at a yacht club. I don't know anything about changing rooms, etc. but there were kids there who were having a ball.
