We docked in Jan/Feb this year but if there are more than 5 ships in port I think you may have to tender in.
We docked at the one closest to town.

mlmadura- you should be ok. The piers are back in working order. Unless you get in with lots of other ships you should be docking.

You mean to say there could be as many as five or more ships in Cozumel at the same time?
Dave, we need to go straight to Sr. Frog's on the c.c. cruise to make sure we get our balloon hats. And while we're there, I guess a couple of shots of tequila and a few Pacificos wouldn't hurt either.

No worries. I am in good with the balloon guy at Frogs. His day is made when I make my grand entrance. I don't know how he manages his melancholy on the other 364 days of the year. Shots of tequila is de rigueur when wearing balloon hats.

And if you really don't want to do the salt and lime thing, I won't insist.

The salt and lime is a MUST! That is my opinion.

I tried to explain to Dave it's all part of the ritual; but Dave's his own man. Nuff said!

I'll humor you - as long as the limes look fresh.

I am sure this has been posted before but you can check how many ships will be in port on your day of arrival at

Just click on the month you will be there
