We went to Paradise Beach back in April, and it was beautiful. We were the first ones there, and it didn't even get that crowded. The drinks were reasonably priced and quite tasty, too!
Thanks for the update on Paradise beach! We were concerned that all the beaches on the western side of the island were quite affected by Wilma and were not really back in swimming shape. I think we'll give this beach a try.
Wife and I went to Paradise Beach May 4th and we had a blast...not very crowded and we had the best spot right on waterfront. We ate a very delicious lunch, had fruit smoothies and just relaxed. You can read reviews and see pics and the menu at www.paradisecozumel.com. You can read my review. Man, I wish I was there right now! Have fun!
My wife and I were at Playa Paradisio (Paradise Beach) last Friday on the Rhapsody of the Seas.
The beach and the water we never more beautiful (our 13th trip to Cozumel).
Have a great time.
Passion Island is where they film the Corona commercials it is the most beatiful beach in the area. Taxi from the pier $45 for 1-4 people. Taxi to Paradisio $12 for 1-4 people.
Have a great cruise.

Yeah, we were kinda scared about that too. Turns out that Paradise Beach was pretty much the only one that was still in good condition when we went. It was awful to drive to there and see all the wreckage along the way.
as promised i have pictures to prove how hard cozumel was hit...so now you have proof and not just my word that they were nailed and will be rebuilding for a very long time...why do you think all the cruise lines are discounting the cruises visiting those ports to the cheapest in the carib. Don't waste money for Chankanaab park see my posts with chankanaab in the title.
I hope the beaches and island look better than they did in January. Wow, that whole island was a wasteland then just a month or so after Wilma hit. I felt like the cruise ship should have offered a discount to the excursions at least, but they didn't. I'm sure it must be in better shape by now, Dave56 says it is and I believe him.
