We have just purchased the trolley/conch train tour through RCCL. Does anyone out there know if you get to choose one of these when you get there or how this is decided since they are both listed nest to the tour?
Also, is the Southernmoist Point within walking distance of the cruise terminal? Thanks..
I've taken both the trolley ride and the Conch Train, but not through RCCL so I can't help you on whether you get to choose or not but if you're on the trolley, you can get off and back on at the various stops that it makes. It does stop at the Southern Most Point. The Conch Train doesn't stop to let you off and on. Both are fun rides though.
We did the trolley tour and loved it. I like the fact that you can get on and off at your leisure. And, as Nole said, it does stop at the southern-most point.
Be sure to check out Hemingway's House (one of my FAVORITE authors). It's pretty interesting!
I would not miss Mel Fisher's Shipwreck Museum. It's really neat. Also, I've read about a pirate museum that's supposed to be good too. It's new and I've not been there. I might check it out when I go to Key West on the Majesty in August. We usually go snorkeling but there's always some time left to do a little sightseeing. I agree with mooneydiva about the Hemingway house. Even if you're not a fan, it is an interesting tour.
