Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel

Are there any public type beaches at these locations. We are going to be doing some excursions at these spots but will have several hours before or after. Thanks in advance

Like any info you have on Cozumel or Guatamala excursions. We are doing Mayan ruins in Belize and Costa Maya

In Belize City, cave tubing is the best thing we could have done.

Paradise Beach is good in Cozumel - if you want to combine it with an excursion you could take their catamaran snorkel tour too. You can see a review on this Cozumel Mexico site (scroll down to 20th Feb.)

In Cozumel, Xel-ha is awesome for watersports. The snorkeling is fantastic. The Tulhum ruins are extremely interesting. We did a swim with the dolphins a Chankanaab Park, pre-hurricane that was totally spectacular. I know the park is re-opened, don't know if the dolphins are back. Have a wonderful cruise!

I've figured out what I want to do in Cozumel and Belize. Going cave tubing in Belize, diving in Cozumel and paradise beach.

Is there a beach (free) like paradise beach in Costa Maya? Don't know if we will do any excursions there even though I'd like to. Just looking for a beach to hang out at.

Costa Maya is a quaint little beach town. There is a pool (salt water) at the little shopping center at the end of the pier. You can't get in the water (at the pier) due to the waves and currents...but they do have lounge chairs in the sand around the pool with some wonderful drinks!!

You can take a bus into "town" for $3 per person each way. We stayed at the pool, but our table mates took the bus into town and described it as a neat little beach town. I think they even said the main street was sand. But there are beaches there with little shops and bars/restaurants.
