Hair braiding-Cozumel

My daughter really wants to get her hair braided (Jamaican style). We will be in Cozumel...does anyone know if there are people there that do braiding like in Jamaica?? Where?? How long does it take and what's the cost?? Thanks

there is a store on the main street of cosumel they have live parrots in front of store to have pictures taken with them they have 3 or 4 girls that do braiding and they are very fast and very reasonable we had my grandchilds whole head done it was about 25 or 30 dollars

I got my whole head braided for $18 by a street vendor. Caution: I did develop little bumps on my head after the cruise that were tender & had to go on antibiotics. Doctor hadn't seen anything like it. Was is the water they use to wet down your hair before they braid? Don't know, but probably wouldn't risk it again in Mexico. Good luck!
