Sandy, I had heard so much bad things about the devestation I didn't even go look. It was so beautiful before. They lost 50000 plants alone in Chank. I heard it did not look the same with the reef, that it was sand

Thanks for all your replies! We have a pool and do plan on buying cheap snorkel equipment to practice with. We will only be in Cozumel 1 day and I think our ship leaves port at 5 or 6 pm. So the catamaran may be out of the question. We're still looking at our options.
I want to get in some shopping time as well so I thought the park might be the best choice.

It's an excursion...Canival calls it DELUXE SAIL, SNORKEL, AND BEACH PARTY. It costs only $49 and takes 3.5 hours. You'll have PLENTY of time to do that, walk around, and have the best Gazpacho you've ever had at Pancho's Back Yard!
