My wife and I would like to go play the casino at the Atlantis resort while in port. Do they people in for just that and what should I expect to pay for a taxi?
|
You are allowed to play in the casino at Atlantis. I beleive the taxi was $4 per person each way when we were there in November.
|
Yes, I was just there and it was $4 per person each way. When they drop you off, I think the casino was inside the door and to the left.
Have a great time!!! Brad |
Denjoker, Atlantis is counting on people to walk in and gamble http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...on_biggrin.gif I hope y'all have tons of luck!
|
I was just there last Wednesday. Big spender that I am, I put $1 in a machine and walked away with $5. So that paid for my taxi ride back to the ship. http://bestsmileys.com/lol/21.gif

Thanks - we're not great fans of Nassau and thought the casino would be safe there. We hit a casino I think that was in St. Marten that was so shady we walked out as soon as we walked in.

denjoker-
You'll be fine at the casino at Atlantis. I know the casino's in St Marten you speak off... I wouldn't have played in those either. The Atlantis casino is more like what you expect a casino to be. Although not much different than the one on the ship. |
The casino is safe, except for the one arm bandits http://bestsmileys.com/lol/21.gif

I've never had any luck in the Atlantis casino. A friend won in the Wyndham casino at Nassau.

We're just small time gamblers - love the penny and nickle slots because of the bonus rounds. I always take as much as I plan on losing. The ship probably won't miss my $20! They'll have plenty of time to receive my donation on a 9 day cruise!
