Excursions

Traveling mid July on Glory to Western Carribean. Not sure whether to book excursions through Carnival or other companies I researched on the web, like Shore Trips, Coral Breeze, NCQadventure tours. What excursions do you recommend?

We enjoyed Dunns River Falls. We did not realize we could've gotted a cheap taxi ride there and paid I believe $5 or $10. Instead we booked an $80 boat/snorkel/Dunns River Falls excursion. Ouch! That was our first cruise!
Bring a waterproof camera. They do have lockers there for a couple of bucks. The water is cold. Bring your own $5 walmart slip on water shoes.

I found booking excursion with private tour companies on line is better that booking the ship tours. Ship tours will cost more and seems to be over crowed.

We have done both through the line and on-line with other venders. Our favorite is Shore-trips.com. We have been thrilled with them.

We almost always use independent operators that have been recommended by other cruisers. If you are going to Grand Cayman, I highly recommend the Buccaneerfor a great excursion to Stingray City. We LOVED this excursion! The timing was perfect, and we got to go to 3 stops. Also, there weren't a lot of people on our excursion! Check out my photos to see some of the fun we had.
