Renting Snorkeling Equipment...

We plan to do a lot of snorkeling on our cruise. Here is the question, we have our own snorkel gear, but we do not have the vests. Should we buy the vest or will we be able to rent just the vests at the beaches. Is it a package deal or can we just rent the vest? Any information would be helpful.

If you're going to a beach, you really don't need a vest. If you're going on one of the excursions, they'll let you use one.

I agree with PA, if you're doing a beach dive, you wont need one. We bought our own, but we usually do catamaran/sail excursion. Plus we do snorkeling on our own. You will need one on any ship excursion, and they will let you use one. Best wishes!
