Hi!

Next Thursday (May 4) I will fly from Amsterdam to Miami in order to board Carnival's Triumph of Saturday 6 May. Our first stop will be San Juan which is during night time, after that we will be going to Saint Thomas and Saint Martin. What is there to see and do on the islands and what is an absolute "not to see and not to do"?

St. Thomas is great for shopping and snorkeling. There are great beaches on St. Thomas, Megan's Bay and Sapphire Beach are a just a couple. You can also take the ferry over to St. Johns and go to Trunk Bay, which is a beautiful beach with a beach snorkel that is self-guided. The ferry is $6/pp, and I believe the beach entrance is $2/pp. San Juan has a great night life and old San Juan is steeped in history. St. Maarten is also good for shopping and there is a nice beach close to the port. Have a wonderful cruise!!
