Artzy2 had said "One caution about buying pottery in Mexico. The bright beautiful colors they use to glaze their pottery contain lead. As long as you don't plan on using them for serving food or perparation. Otherwise they are prefectly fine for decoration."

I didn't know this and I was really looking forward to getting a tea pot in Mexico to actually use here at home. Is there a way to know if anyone doesn't make them using lead?
