progresso mexico

I am making a second stop in Progresso Mexico with my large family so I can't afford an expensive excursion does anyone have any cheap good excursion ideas? thanks

hi jeanniesue. Welcome.
Personally, I found Progreso very boring and dirty. We walked around in their open-air straw market, bought a few souvenirs, and went immediately back to the ship.

That was 3 years ago. Perhaps, some others have been there recently and will offer up some other ideas.

Not a bad place to not have money to blow on excursions. I'd personally by hanging out on the ship and having the pools and hot tubs, etc to myself while everybody else goes and tries to find someting interesting to spend money on. You won't miss much and you'll get to relax on your vacation, isn't that what they're for?
