It is an excellent way to spend the day. You can't go wrong. Be sure to do the cave tubing and explore the inlets.

You picked a GREAT excursion - XCARET was one of the major highlights of our honeymoon 6 years ago. You won't regret it - be sure to go cave tubing and take lots of pictures (take waterproof disposable camera)!!

We went to this park last year. Loved it and would love to go back some day. I'd like to have more time there, didn't get to see and do everything. I loved the cave tubing (lazy river through the caves) but the kids (ages 19 and 12) thought it was kind of freaky. It was cold though! Everyone loved the lagoon snorkeling, the turtle farm, and the restaurant overlooking the lagoon and beach (and a distant view of the dolphin area). If we ever get back that direction, we'll go back for sure! You've made a great choice. Take sunscreen.
