Has anyone been to the Sunset Beach Resort in Montego Bay lately? I've tried calling their number listed on the website and it gives me a fax connection. I was just curious as to how much it is for a day pass and do you just walk in or need reservations? I'd appreciate any information!

Also, I'm open for excursion ideas for Cozumel!

Hi Rutledge0116, can't solve the Mo Bay problem. There were lots of posts about Sunset Beach Resort, but not recently. An all-inclusive there is a great idea. Just don't know if Sunset is still viable. As for Cozumel, there's a lot of good beaches there. Xel-ha is my favorite for snorkeling and water activities. There have been a lot of posts for the Fury Catamaran sail/snorkel that have been very positive. Can't tell you from first hand experience, however, we've done 2 sail/snorkels there that were great. We were there a couple of weeks ago and went to Paradise Beach. Plenty of water activities, decent beach, good food/drinks. Chankanaab Park is also a nice place for swimming, snorkeling (although not as good as before the hurricane), food and drink. If you've not done the swim with the dolphins, this is a good spot to do it. Make sure it's the swim and not the encounter, though. Hopefully someone has been to Mo Bay recently and can help. Best wishes and you'll be leaving really soon--so TAKE ME WITH YOU All kidding aside, have a wonderful cruise!

I just called Sunset Beach and got the following information from their Sales and Marketing Department...

Yes, day guests are welcome. Everything is included just like you are a guest at the resort with the exception of a room, but there are changing rooms available.

prices are $40 per adult and $20 per child.

Sunset Beach is located about 2-3 minutes from the cruise dock.
