Nassau snorkling

Great site! My family will be going on its first cruise in October with CCL. Most people on this site seem to mention the Atlantis hotel for excursion. We may try that based on y'all's recommendations. I was wondering if any of you would, or would not, recommend the 3-point snorkling excursions. Are they any good?

Also (and I'm nervous to ask such a question, so please be gracious in your responses to this one), I'm hoping the beaches aren't topless for the women. Am I hoping in vain. We have two young boys, so we need to know what to expect. We'll be at Nassau and Half Moon Cay.

Hi Chickiegirl, cute name, welcome to cruise-chat! I can't address the snorkeling question as I haven't done 3-point. I also haven't been to Nassau in many years but I don't think you have anything to worry about there with topless ladies. There are some nude beaches at some of the Eastern Carib ports, St. Maarten and St. Thomas both have one but none that I'm aware of in Nassau.

Hi Chickiegirl, and Welcome to Cruise-Chat!

I haven't snokeled for a long while in Nassau. I can say that the beach at Atlantis (Cabbage Beach) is a nice beach, but not a good beach for snorkeling. As Neil noted as well, no worries about topless beaches in Nassau to my knowledge.
