I think that this is Princess Kays in the bahamas. That is def. a Princess ship, and you can even see a tender! Scroll east to see 3 more tenders in dock, and all the buildings of the resort

BTW, with google earth, (free) you can actually see individual beach umbrellas!

You can see a voyager class RCCL ship, 2 carnivals, and if you scroll east, there's a Holland america ship the Volendam or the Zaandam. East further is a ship I don't recognise.

I belive you are right, that is Princess Cay. I plugged in the coordinates from my GPS and it took me right there I've been playing with Google Earth recently (in fact too much, not getting my work done). That is one neat progam.

If you take a GPS with you on cruises like I do (got to have toys) you can store coordinates and plug them into Google Earth.

not many places in the caribbean have the resolution that the bahamas have. It's kinda odd. most caribbean islands have some of the worst resolution in all of GE.

The reason, I've heard thro' the grapevine, is that the images are from an old Russian Spy satellite, and places of significant interest are real pictures, ie Port Canaveral, and San Francisco.
