You must be on the same itinerary on the Sea that we were on last year. Trinidad is great. We took the Angostura tour that also included the Botanical Garden. The tour of the factory was great, they had really reasonably priced alcohol as well. They not only make the Angostura bitters, but they make rum, and vodka. The Botanical Gardens were pretty, it was a nice walk. Our guide stopped at a couple of road side places to help out some of the locals. They played some music and had some unique items for sale. The photo ops were great. The port, itself, was filthy. They had an area where you could shop. The city is not far and you could walk, but I'd advise taking a cab. If you're there early enough, find a vendor selling doubles. It's a great breakfast wrap. They use chickpeas and seasoning. You can get them spicy or regular. I really had a ball on the Angostura tour. Getting through security to get back on the ship takes a while, especially if there is another ship in port. Have a wonderful cruise!
