Bob Marley Tour in Jamaica

Has anyone done this tour excursion in Ocho Rios? I am just wandering if this is something that we can experience on our own, or is it necessary to book the tour through Royal Caribbean? I don't want to occupy all of my time in Jamaica with this one tour....just thought that maybe someone might have a suggestion as to how one might experience a little Bob Marley while in Jamaica? I mean is there a museum, or store that would be sufficient enough to those Bob Marley enthusiasts??
