Best excursion/Aruba

This is our first Caribbean cruise, and we can't wait! Can anyone give us a great excursion for the Southern Caribbean islands???

Hi Nancy,

We love the beach as well, but I really want to explore the island and do a little snorkeling. What is the best way to explore the island without being in a caravan of 25 jeeps?

What we do in many ports is ask the cab drivers how much they would charge for a tour of the island. Most of the time it is reasonable and they will take you to tourist traps, but also to local sites and tell you a bit about the island's history. The last time we were in Aruba, we took a catamaran for a snorkel in the morning, ate lunch on board then took a cab around for a couple of hours. I'm not into shopping, so we just hit some spots on the island. Have a wonderful trip.
