Tabyana Beach

Roatan is one of our stops & it looks like this is the place for snorkling. Has anyone booked the excursion lately? We are traveling with our 76 year young mom & she will not want to snorkle but play on the beach. Any feedback on the best things to do at Roatan?

Hi, I have been to Tabyana Beach and we loved it! It is so beautiful and the snorkeling is great! We scuba dive so we see a lot of underwater stuff and we really enjoyed snorkeling here. The water is beautiful. We also rented a kayak here from the beach. If anyone in your group would like to go on a zip line they offer that here too. It starts up the hill from there and after going on many lines it ends up back at the beach. Have a great time.

The beach snorkeling was some of the best we've ever done - not a lot else to do - I'd bring my own snorkeling gear - the stuff they rent isn't very well sanitized plus once you're hooked on cruising you'll use it time & time again.
