good beach in Nassau

Does anyone know a good not so crowded beach in Nassau? I am on the 3 day Fantasy cruise. Also, is there a formal night on the 3 day cruise and does anyone know a better way to get to the ship from the Orlando airport than the Carnival shuttle? That was long and tedious in New Orleans. We went to Nassau last week and we went to Paradise Island. Pretty crowded and the surf was very rough. You probably want to stay away from this one.

Yes, there is a formal night on the 3-night cruise; at least there was a few years ago. It is held during the late port stay in Nassau. And the shuttle from Orlando to the port is still more convenient and/or less expensive than any other public transportation options. You might check rental car companies to see if you can rent a car to drive to the port and turn it in there; the weekly rental rate and parking fee will probably be more expensive than the shuttle, unless you have 4 or 5 people going together.
