Best Excursions

We're cruising March 18 with stops at Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Belize City. What are the best excursions at each port? We're interested in snorkeling, shopping, and good beaches. Would 58 year olds in relatively good shape enjoy the zip line/cave tubing in Belize???

We've done snorkeling in Grand Cayman, one was on a wreck and one was with the stingrays. Both were nice, good water, good visibility. We did the swim with the dolphins in Cozumel the last time we were there. Xel-ha is absolutely beautiful to snorkel in. Have not been to Belize City or Costa Maya.

Costa Maya is beautiful but very small and basically just one beachfront with some restaurants and souvenir shops. You may want to see the Chacchoben ruins, they ARE realy beautiful and unique...
Cozumel...sailing and snorkeling the cozumel reefs...a dream
Zip-Line...take note of lots of little stairs to climb on a tree at 20-30ft high tree base from each tree to each tree, tour is great, not too much exercise, also good for younger participants...but there is no 2nd security line

We did the zip line in Puerto Vallara. It was a great experience. So long as you are in good shape, it should not be any problem.

My husband and I cruised on the Majesty Feb 4, 2006 and visited Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Key West. At the last minute while in Cozumel, we joined the Dune Buggy/Snorkeling excursion and had a blast! The guides Edwardo and Jorge were extremely knowledgable and entertaining. When we completed the trip, we had felt we had experienced the island of Cozumel.
