If you are not into snorkeling with the stingray or hanging out at 7 Mile Beach, how about taking the jeep tour around the island? It includes the Rum Factory and makes for a more complete excursion.

We are still talking about doing that. We're just exploring a bunch of different options. A jeep tour sounds like a lot of fun! The only thing with snorkeling with the stingrays is...I think I'd crap my pants!!! I'm a chicken. I'd be too scared. My boyfriend would be even more afraid of it than me!!! haha!
While I've heard excellent things about the stingrays, it's not everyone's cup of tea (myself included).
I would also recommend the Jeep island tour, you'll likely get to see the turtles, the rum factory and Hell all in one trip, thus not forcing you to decide between them all.

We made a short stop at what the driver said was the "outlet" for the Tortuga cakes ... they were actually cheaper on the ship and Dave is correct, they are wonderful.
I hope I can find this beer I got in St. Thomas, Foxy's Lager (www.blackbeardale.com) so I can get some more. It was SO incredibly tasty! I emailed them about buying some and having it shipped, but they don't do that. I was quite upset. Even if I have to get a bottle or 2 and walk around the streets drinking it, that is fine with me. I just want to have some!
Just did the Stingray City, Island drive last Wednesday. All that we saw when we went to the Rum Factory was the gift shop....nothing about the actual factory itself. So, I'm not too sure what you are expecting, or maybe your tour is different. The tasting was great, and ohhhh the cakes....LOL I did find them 1/2 price on the ship though! The Turtle Farm was fun too. Have a great trip!
