Does anyone know a great shore excursion in Montego Bay that you can book on your own?

What are your interests? Beach, Snorkel, ect..

I would like to go somewhere not too far from the ship, because sometimes the travel time to a shore excursion can take up most of your port time. Snorkeling, exploring, sightseeing whatever. Any ideas?

tesi, Jamaica is probably the only country that I have visited to date that I would strongly suggest to book directly through the cruise line with reputable companies and don't venture off on your own. That's just my own opinion due to a close call our family experienced. Ochos Rios has Dunns River Falls, which is fantastic and very memorable. It is a distance though. But, these excursions are offered through the ship. Dunns River Falls will not disappoint ! Have fun.

We will be going to Sunset Beach Resort & Spa. It isn't far from the dock, but we will take a taxi. It is 40.00 pp/ children 20.00. Includes food, open bar, water toys, ect. A really nice place! You don't book through the cruise line...just show up. We have friends that have been there numerous times and absolutely love Sunset Beach.

May I recommend a couple of reputable tour companys? They come highly recommended.

A-Z Jamaican Planners or Marva Shaw (knowjamaica.com) They do private tours, but will customize whatever you want to do.
