I am worried my cruise ship will miss the grand cayman stop due to weather sometimes...and i really want to go to stingray city...if i miss this...can i go and do the same thing...in cozumel???? anyone been?? who would i do it with locally?? thanks
Marita,
I would love to know more about this. I have been to Cozumel numerous times and have never heard that there was any place in Cozumel to swim with stingrays. There is a dolphin swim, but at a loss for a "stingray adventure".

but I think I mixed up the islands.
On Cozumel our friends took a motor scooter, to get to the other part of the island for swimming and snorkeling. I think it was Grand Cayman, where they did the stingray snorkeling.
Sorry, but when you see so many islands, you can get confused, what was especially on this island.
For myself I make a sort of a diary, and sometimes I have to take a look at the photos on my notebook, to remember where we did what.
So forgive me, it has been the wrong information and by the way we hated Cozumel.
Best wishes from a person, taking a short break from renovating the dining room and the house entrance, to take a look in the chatroom.
No need to apologize. I know exactly what you mean. If I did not journal, I could never keep all the islands straight. I just thought I might have missed something in my research on Cozumel. Sounds like you have a big project on your hands - renovating can be quite exhausting!

I loved Grand Cayman, lots to do if you miss the sting rays don't worry!
Also, Cozumel is a different kind of port. We actually had a lot of fun, but we basically shopped, ate and relaxed - there are tours to beaches, snorkeling but no sting rays (maybe dolphins? not sure).
