Costa Maya Activities

Does anyone have a favorite activity in Costa maya that is "kid friendly" (2, 4 & 11 years old)?

Hi Mistyjo,

There is not a whole lot to do in Costa Maya. There is a public beach not too far away. They also have a big saltwater swimming pool right there at the port in the middle of the shopping area.
My 7 year old loves the pool. We have been to Costa Maya 3 times and she always wants to go to the pool. We get there early so that we can get a chair and hang out all day. She always finds other kids to play with and has a blast.

Yes, it is a very nice pool. Clean and well maintained. Most of the pool is quite shallow so you don't have to worry about the kids too much and there is a very nice, well-stocked swim-up bar for the adults!! They also have one of those squares close to the pool where the fountains shoot up at various intervals. The kids seem to enjoy running about guessing where the water will come from next.
