port fees

i was recently offerred to buy a cruise off of my brother being as how he is unable to get any vacation time off. it is a cruise aboard the regal empress to the caribbean. i was told the taxes are $59. however he does not have any information on the port fees. does anybody???

Hi biznatch28, welcome to Cruise-Chat. The port fees and taxes are included in the total fare of the cruise. They are paid before you leave, so there is no additional fee when you get to your ports in the itinerary. Sorry, your brother can't get off to make his cruise, but that's a great opportunity for you. Have a great cruise, and once again, welcome aboard!

thank you again penny3333. I was told that the only extra fees that i would have to pay were the taxes. which came out to be $59. Not trying to repeat myself, but i just wanted to make sure and clarify that there are not other fees that i would concur. thank you again

The ship is a classic liner. I would love going on the cruise just to check the ship out.
