Thanks Penny & IslandCruz for that advice for Trunk Bay, I looked into it and it looks like exactly where we would be wanting to spend a day! Can you give me an idea of how much time it would take to get from the ship (St. Thomas) over to St. Johns (Trunk Bay), so that we could have a better idea of how to plan our day with the time frame that we have in port?

I hate to say it but Trunk Bay can be Coney Island if there are enough ships in port.
The day I am going to be in St. Thomas there are 6 massive boats in town. I'd go over to Jost van Dyke for some peace and quiet.
