Canopy tours in Roatan

Has anyone ever done a canopy tour on their own in Roatan? I wuld like to try the zip lines and then go to a beach but don't want to pay the cruise line prices.

Two of the people at my dinner table on my last cruise did it on their own. They said it was a blast!

We did it last year!!! I can't remember what mountain it's on but it's only like 20mins or so from the dock by cab. It was $40/person and was soooo fun. It looks kinda scary at first because it's just some people who built it on they're own but it it about 25 lines and SWEET!! through the trees and fast!!! It was soo fun and I've never done anything like that before... The cab guys know the mountian I remember it was hard to pronounce .. Have the cab guy meet you at the bottom. Have fun!!!
