E. Caribbean Questions - HELP!!

Hi, we're headed to San Juan, St. Martin, St. Thomas, and Nassau next week and my research has left me with some big questions:

About us: We're 30, NOT big shoppers, and prefer doing excursions on our own (not from the ships)

St. Maartin or St. Thomas - Best place to Scuba??

I'm sold on going to St. Johns from St. Thomas - What's the cheapest & fastest way to get there from the port?

Bahamas - Just called Atlantis and say they only offer a $25 aquarium tour to non-guests. (no pools, slides, etc.) Do you recommend this??

Recommend anthing in San Juan besides the Old City Tour??

If you read my review for the Carnival Paradise, you saw that a tour guide at the pier convinced us to go with him for the day. We really enjoyed him and the tour, so thought I'd give you more info about him.

His name is Javier Lomba, 30 something, and a licensed tour guide. He has a 12-passenger a/c van, and his father-in-law has a 22-passenger a/c van. When they're gathering people at random, they tell you where they're going for the day. But, if you have a group, you can call him ahead of time to reserve one of these vans and tell him what all you want to do for a set price! We paid $20 per person.
