We are not buying the transfers and wonder how easy it will be to get a taxi and the cost of the fare. When return to San Juan, will it be easy to get a taxi to Marriott's Isla Verde Hotel? Cost? Thanks a million!

It will be very easy to get a cab to and from the pier in SanJuan. I've been on cruises out of there twice and never had any problem. The check-in process there is a little awkward, or at least was back in late 2003. Everyone boards and goes to the main theater to check in -row by row. Maybe that has changed, someone else may chime in.

Welcome to cruise-chat. It's about a 10 minute cab ride and about $20 one way. The taxi's are waiting for you when you leave the airport.

Isla Verde is a good choice because you will be just 10 minutes from to the airport. What ship are you sailing?
