costa maya?

We are going on the Jewel in March. I had heard Carnival is not stopping there because of the huricane. Has anyone heard of any problems with Costa Maya or Belize? This is our first cruise with RC. Have been on Princess many times. Thanks

Costa Maya was essentially leveled. The pier was destroyed and the fake village was similarly damaged. I would be amazed if it were back in service by March. You will most likely have an alternate port.

They took a direct hit from that hurricane, which was a category 4 or 5 when it reached Costa Maya at landfall.
