Hi tacha, if you'll look in the Carnival section, Babydoll has posted some pictures of your itinerary that are just gorgeous. It might give you some ideas.
thanks for the info... yes it's fun to look at those pictures.. but if anyone as any ideas which beaches are best... what to see... what's to visit... not to miss ideas!!!
Beaches in Cabo?? What is the most beautiful and fun things to do??
Mazatlan: Places to see are the Original Senor Frog's and the Pacifico/Corona brewery. You could book a tour to the brewery through your cruise ship or book it on your own through by finding it on the Internet and calling one of the tour companies to book it. This may be cheaper. Mazatlan is also nice to see how the tourist areas have shifted. You'll see the old boardwalk (malecon) and the new boardwalk where all the newer places are.
Puerto Vallarta: You should walk the malecon (boardwalk.) Lots of shops and things to do. We went to "El Eden" which is a jungle oasis which is famous for the filing of the Predator film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The area is gorgeous and has beautiful waterfalls which you can swim under.
Cabo San Lucas: My favorite of the three spots because of the intimacy of the port. The most popular tour is the bay tour visiting the famous land's end arch, seal rock, the kiss of the ocean (from the film Troy) and lover's beach (a must see.) You can most certainly get a price half that of the cruise line at the tender pier. We paid about $16 per person for about three hours. Another place to see is the famous Cabo Wabo cantina.
Remember that the shopping closer to the pier/tenders will always be more expensive than the shops further away or in town. I bought a tall shot glass near the pier for at Cabo for 30 pesos, or about 3 bucks. Later, I came across shops in town offering similar shot glasses for 2 for 25 pesos. What a deal.
Have fun!!!

Among our favorite tours we've ever taken was in Mazatlan -- Colonial Villages. We're very much into history, and it was of great interest to see some of these small towns that dot the mountains. Again, that's just us.
Well thank's very much for these infos. Just a couple more questions, we liked the idea of the brewery in Mazatlan, do you remember how far it is from the ship, how long does it take to go there?
Same thing for the El Eden, is it far away from the ship... are we gone for all day long or it's only a couple of hours...
Again, thank's again for these infos.. GREAT IDEAS!!!
Have a Happy Easater!!
We did the Sierra Madre tour at Mazatlan.Really enjoyed it.It makes several stops on your way to an old mining town up in the mountains, where you will have a real mexican lunch.
P.V. we did the Tropical Jungle tour. You are bussed to the jungle where the movie Pedator was made at.They have the tree house from the movie there in the parking lot of the resturant. You hike thru the jungle(a little steep to start with but then not bad at all)and after the tour you can take a nice swim in a pool in the mountain steam.
Cabo..we went to the beach and hung out.We was there in May and the water was cool.
Hope this helps
Mike

The Brewery tour is about three hours because it was combined with a city tour and a brief stop on a hillside overlooking the city. The tour pick you up right at the pier and drops you off in downtown if you want to do more shopping. You can then take a cab to the ship for a couple of bucks per person. Remember to negotiate the fee to the pier before getting into the cab.
We also took a city tour which included the jungle stop of "El Eden" which picked us up at the pier in P.V. The trip to El Eden is about a half hour to 40 minutes away from the ship. However, the entire tour was about 4 hours.
