Yeah...I keep reading about those type of shoes to buy instead of rent at the fall, but I am not quite sure what they are talking about. I guess I will have to do a little research.

Is Bamboo Beach Club something only offered through Carnival? We are crusing on RCCL in late September and the beach club sounds good to me.

Need A Vacation - That I cannot answer. I just know that it is an excursion with Carnival for the Ocho Rios port. Might be worth checking into with your agent or online with excursions with RCCL.

Sorry couldn't be of more help.
Anyone else know???

Chris, the water shoes that Land's End sells are reasonable and do the trick. You can order them on-line or through their catalog. I own a great pair of Teva's. They're a little more, but worth it.
If you're just looking for something to use for the falls, Walmart and K-Mart sell $5.00 generics which do the same thing.

We sailed 3 wks ago on RCCL and we asked the guy at the port what the best thing to do was and he recommended Bamboo Beach Club. We went directly there and bought a ticket for $49 each and had the most amazing time. We were a group of 10 people and the drinks were constantly refilled and the food was unbelievable. They also have these shows that were a real cultural exp and a lot of fun. I think they also have a combination where you can visit the falls and go to the Beach Club. It's definitely worth it, everybody had the best time and we'll definitely go back there. Have fun!!!

atsea-that is good to know. We have booked thru Carnival for this Shore Excursion. Our part for the Bamboo Beach Club will be $45.00 so that makes me feel better that I can't get it any cheaper by just waiting until I get there.

We are crusing on Sunday 5/20/07 and we have booked the Bamboo Beach Club/Dunn's River Falls Combo trip. i think it was $75 a person. I'll let you know how it is!
