Car Rental at Costa Maya

My wife and I are booked to Costa Maya / Mahahual on the Carnival Fantasy at the end of April. Our habit is to rent a car and look around and we've done this at Calica, Cozumel and in the Bahamas. However, I can't locate a car rental agency in Costa Maya. Anybody know of one? Thanks for your answers.

Just got back from Costa Maya. It is truly "third world." There is a huge pool, shops, restaurant complex at the end of the pier for cruise passengers. In Majaual, a short $2 per person cab ride, there is a nice beach front that looks good for snorkeling. There are also a number of shops and bars/restaurants that have opened in there. It is worth checking out. But I don't remember any car rental agencies. Don't know if it's possible since it is such a small town.

Still looking, found some sources but nothing firm. Hoping someone here has experience. If you know of a car rental in Costa Maya, please let me know.
