st thomas excursions

we will be on the eos 10/26-11/04-i am having a tought time choosing excursions for st thomas port o call-i see so many but i cant decide,i will narrow it down and say no water related stuff,my idea is some sort of sightseeing/shopping tour,i also want to maybe do 2 excursions if time allows i believe the day is a 9-5 day any help would be greatly appreciated

We did a tour that went to Blackbeard's castle and then took us shopping a few years ago. It gave us a taste of the island. We also did a rum runner type tour, that was fun. There's also a tram that will take you up to the top of a hill for a great view of the city. There's tons of good shopping there. It's easy to get to town on your own without having to do an excursion, so maybe do one excursion in the morning, come back to the ship and have lunch, then head to town for shopping. Sorry you don't care for the water, there are some beautiful beaches in that area, especially Trunk Bay in St. John. Have a wonderful cruise!

We did this port a few years ago and it has a lasting memory for me. We took the trip up to the top of the island. It is one of the most beautiful views in the world. Don't miss it. You will still have time for shopping.
