What to do/see in Tortola

[I love cruising!]

One of our stops is in Tortola, the port does not look too exciting, we are going to book an excursion -- any must do's????

It is not very interesting. You must book an excursion because there is not too much to do right off the ship. If I stop there again, I will defer to the ship for my amusement for the day.

I don't think you will see very many posts defending the little port but I am often surprised.

Take the island tour over the hills and stop for a beach break at Cane Garden Bay. Take a Taxi over to Boomba's shack for a cocktail,a beer, and/or a snack-and stop a Pusser's for some pain killer(RUM)-if you look-there's plenty to see and do-above all-relax,enjoy-you are on a cruise!

I did the swim with the dolphins excursion, it was an AWESOME experience! I highly recommend it!

We will be in Tortola in less than 12 days, and we decided to go to the beach (not sure which one) and to go to Bomba Shack.
