What is there to do in these ports of call that is safe and fun? (shopping,tours,)???
Is it worth getting off the ship in these areas?

Stay with the beach tours. We toured the city and the beaches. The city tour bus was followed by the police. That tells me something was unsafe. The beaches were great. Hard to get to but we really enjoyed them. The towns were heart wrenching. A few local people tried to take our camera but did not succeed. The children will beg for dollars and break your heart. Stay with the beaches and you will not be disappointed. If you need more information e-mail me.
