Eastern Caribbean Ports

My daughter and I are sailing out of Miami on the NCL Jewel 2/12/06. I have been to 3 of the ports but need some advice. San Juan, Antiqua, St Thomas - what are the best beaches of these 3 ports for snorkeling ON OUR OWN????? Any other secret tips??

In St. Thomas, we take the ferry over to St. Johns and snorkel Trunk Bay. Trunk Bay is a beach snorkel. There are lockers, showers, and a place for a snack there. In San Juan we went to Contada Beach, but did not snorkel. We haven't been to Antigua, but are going in October. There are suppose to be 365 beaches in Antigua, but I've heard good things about Barbuda as well. I've been trying to find comments on the web, but no luck so far.
