Magen's bay

we are thinking of going on an excursion to magen's bay in St.Thomas. has anyone ever been there? If so how was it?

It's a really nice beach. It has the amenities you need. If you've never been to St. Thomas, it's a nice way to get introduced to part of the island. We took our own snorkel gear, and it was decent snorkeling. Just my opinion, Magen's and Coki are the best beaches on St. Thomas. The best beach in the area is Trunk Bay, on the island of St. John.You can catch a ferry to St. John and a cab to Trunk Bay. It is an awesome beach, with a self-guided snorkel trail about 50 yds from the shore, all the amenities. But you can always make that your next visit if you haven't been to St. Thomas before. Magen's Bay is one of my fav...The trip from the ships port up over the mountains of St. Thomas is great and will offer you a chance to take some nice shots of your ship at port. But like penny said Trunk Bay at St. Johns is a must also. You can check out my photo of MB at
