I was wondering when you get the the end of the tubing run, how do you get back to the bus? We are thinking of using Reggie's. But may use rccl's.

When you arrive you get your tube and headlamp and walk for about 30 min. up a trail.

You will then float down river and through caves back to where you started and where your bus is parked.

Have fun, it is a great trip.

Hi Tony ! We are booked on RCCL's Explorer 4/8/07 and did not see cave tubing as an excursion - perhaps it depends on the ship . We were considering but didn't want to do it on our own not knowing what was best; any comments anyone?

Even if they do offer a tubing tour on the ship, you're better off with Reggie's tour. He only takes between 6 & 8 people in his van & if he has a bus if needed. When walking down the trail to where you enter the river you'll pass people from the ship tours waiting for the others to catch up before proceeding. It's a lot easier to navigate with only 8 people than 40.

We were just in Belize...did cave tubing with Yonni through cave-tubing.com.
Incredible...and WAY better than what the ship offered and at half the price to boot.

Yonni, if you're out there, my wife has had me following your suggestion regarding cashew wine?...She's been smiling everyday since we got back...but we need MORE WINE!

Our tour was $45/person and did 2 caves, ship did 1. Yonni had a guide with each group of tubes, ship's tour had none. For the rest of the cruise they kept showing the ship's tour on ship's TV?...and we'd all laugh everytime we saw it because people were floating downriver, no guides, getting stuck in leaves/branches, etc...

Not something we'd want to do again if we went back (other than to get more cashew wine, Yonni!) but well worth doing the first time.

3 cruises, looking for the next one.

Cave tubbing was a blast, be ready to walk a bit and float 20min in total darkness, I loved this it freaked my daughters out and they did not like the cave part.
