Someone told me tonight that there is a fee to get off and on the ship when you get to a port- I take it this was included when I paid for the cruise- i don't think my travel agent would have left this one out! Is this true?

Do you mean port charges?
They are usually added to the cruise price along with taxes...

There are no charges to come and go on the ship. It is a charge the ship pays to dock at a port. It is already included in your cruise price.
